UNITED WAY OF MOORE COUNTY CELEBRATES 40 YEARS
Established in 1968, this year the United Way of Moore County celebrates 40 years of making life better for people in our community. Our records show that since 1994, forty local nonprofits agencies and programs have benefited from the work of the United Way of Moore County with nearly six and a half million dollars in grants being awarded. Over the years, community contributions have been distributed to programs benefiting hundreds of men, women, and children right here where we live. The United Way of Moore County continues to work with partner agencies and members of the community to do the most good where it is needed.
Our Moore County is the home of numerous non-profits, all deserving your help. By making a contribution to the United Way your support reaches many of them who serve our youth, the elderly, those in need of emergency assistance, and those with developmental disabilities.
